We are celebrating Australia Day this year with a bush run with a difference. A 5km loop course around Knapsack Park, Glenbrook. The course has a mixture of single trail, fire trail, descents, climbs and two lookouts. Singles and team categories available to suit all runners. Get a bunch of mates together and come up and make a day of it. Have a run and then sit back, enjoy the company, have a cold drink and watch others do the running.
Starting out of the leafy surrounds of sleepy Knapsack Oval and taking in the sights of this largely unknown running reserve (well Mtb I suppose officially). The Knapsack Lap Race will provide single track, open fire trail, ridge lines, gully’s and tremendous views from the Marge’s and Elizabeth Lookouts. All in a tidy 5km circuit.
The event offers opportunities for solo runners and relay teams. With time frames of 3hrs and 6hrs to choose from. Run as many or as few laps as you want, but most importantly don’t miss the most enjoyable Australia Day event going round in running circles (literally).
