As you will all be very aware, NSW has declared a state of emergency as there are several serious bush fires burning across the Blue Mountains which have caused devastation in many areas. These fires are still burning and are likely to be burning for weeks to come.

As with all Running Wild events, safety always comes first and in the case of bush fires, our events will not be held. This therefore means that the Kedumba Half marathon and associated short course option will NOT BE HELD on Saturday 28thOctober.

Please bear with us as we work out the options available to us and decide whether it is possible to reschedule the event to another date. We will also be in touch about options on refunds – at this stage we need to re-group as a committee to work this all out. Some of our own committee have also been affected by the bush fires in the region, so we may need a little time, but we will be in touch as soon as we can.

At this time, our thoughts are with all those in the Blue Mountains affected by this terrible situation.

Please stay safe out there!
